Baskakov-Brulé
process synthesizes the awareness techniques of thanotologist
Vladimir Baskakov, one of Russia's leading body oriented psychotherapist,
and the breath techniques of Dan Brulé, one of America's
leading Breathworkers. The idea is to short circuit the ego, to
dissolve unnecessary defense mechanisms and irrational fears,
to override controlling urges and inhibiting reactions, to collapse
conscious resistance as well as unconscious barriers. The process
is usually carried through in groups of 6 people, using "cleansing
breath" - a full inhale followed by a good sigh of relief,
random touch, gentle stretching, Body re-orientation and Meditative
Integration. This is also called the practice of "being with"
"whatever is" and allowing "whatever is" "to
be" however it is. It is to retreat rational mind, surrender
the intellect, awaken and sensitize the holistic right brain,
and to settle into a very calm yet energized state.
